Loved this when it first came out. It’s a good adaptation of the book and features some great music. Cusack and Black are nicely cast.

Dan – Funny to think Cusack was considered for Ferris Bueller and lost to Broderick… This is like a 35 year old jaded and cynic Bueller. I love it.

Great movie! So funny! Cusack is perfect here! Had to include in my Top 25 Comedies of the Decade for sure! http://magiclanternfilm.wordpress.com/2010/05/25/peter-eramos-top-25-comedies-of-the-decade-part-uno/

Peter – I just wrote about this film in my book, and realized every time I think about it I love it more. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s just well executed.
